Datanomix's Analytics Solution Visualizes Shop Performance

Datanomix’s Automated Job Costing analytics compares ProShop target cycle times to actual process performance in the Datanomix Automated Production Intelligence Platform, providing users with a full list of which jobs to focus on to find more margin. The company will showcase the software solution in booth 5349 at Eastec 2023.

Datanomix’s integration with ProShop ERP automatically matches part numbers in Datanomix to those from the ProShop ERP system and extracts specific target takt times. When compared to actual machine performance in Datanomix, the variance to standard is represented in terms of button-to-button time, cutting time and touch time, and summarized with the Datanomix letter grade score of A+ to C-, showing which jobs are underperforming as compared to critical ProShop standards.

ProShop targets are also integrated into the Datanomix Quote Calibration Report to help users identify long-term opportunities for margin improvement based on variance to cycle-time standards. Datanomix benchmarks and actuals are fed back into the ProShop ERP system so users can make more informed and accurate estimates based on real data.

With ProShop targets feeding into Datanomix, users can use the following pre-loaded filters:

• Winners — part numbers that beat ProShop targets and are making more profit than anticipated
• Losers — part numbers that did not beat ProShop targets and are not making a profit
• Winners with Upside — part numbers that are beating targets, but could be making profits
• Losers that Could be Winners — part numbers that are losing on average compared to targets, but Datanomix has seen the user run the job well enough to turn it into a “Winner”
